What a great conversational piece and so much
better than the old covered brick! They look wonderful scattered
around my home and the homes of my friends. I have sent these
all over the world. I often wonder where they (and all of my
other items) end up and what that person’s home is like….
These wonderful doorstops are in the shape of
a real handbag complete with handle and a beautiful rhinestone
button closure to finish off.
The door stop has a zipper on the bottom so you can fill it
upon arrival. (They will come unfilled for much cheaper postage.)
I use fibrefill for the top part of the bag, to push out the
top, then, weigh it down with 1Kg+ of rice - you may prefer
to use something else and I will leave that up to you.
They measure 9" (base) X 6" (top) x
7" (height - not including the handles - 11" with
handles).

Doorstop "Flower Fairies"
For this doorstop I have used a really gorgeous print by The
Estate of Cicely Mary Barker for Michael Miller prints.
Cicely Mary Barker was the creator of the "Flower Fairies"
a series of children's books from the 1920's.
On the reverse is a co ordinating blue tonal print.
This is a really lovely print and would be wonderful
in a little girls room
Pretty rhinestone button and hints of silver
sparkles on the wings.
